On Friday, July 31, the 26th Youth Festival will begin with the evening Holy Mass with the theme “Peace be with you”. Great numbers of the youth from all over the world are expected and the final preparations are coming to their end. The International Choir and Orchestra is ready, as well as volunteers of the Franciscan Youth, interpreters, technical team, radio station Mir Medjugorje that will broadcast the event. A day before, on Thursday, July 30, 2015, the Information Office registered groups from 27 countries: Poland, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Honduras, Peru, China, Spain, Argentina, Lebanon, Korea, Brazil, Ukraine, Malta, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania and Portugal.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Things to bring with you: a small FM radio with headphones, a Bible and an umbrella.
- All groups participating in the Youth Prayer meeting: please do not arrange or make plans for any other programs during this week.
- During the time of the Youth Festival (except on Sunday) there will be no morning Masses for pilgrims. All pilgrims will attend the evening Mass with the youth.
- During the entire Youth Festival, there will be simultaneous translation: Hrvatski, English, Italiano, Deutsch, Français, Español, Portugues, Polski, Slovensky SK, Slovenski SLO, Magyar, Română, Ruski, Česky, Korean, Arabic, Chinese Mandarine, Chinese Cantonese.

The Youth Festival is going to be held this year from July 31 to August 6, 2015. The theme of this prayer meeting is “Peace be with you!” Jn 20,21. The programme will be made of catechesis, testimonies, liturgy celebrations, prayers and adoration, and as every year, there will be some surprises as well.
